Lighthouse Pro SMS: opt-in and messaging program

This page documents exactly how our text messaging program works: how you opt in, what we send, how often, what it costs, and how to stop it at any time.

Program name: Lighthouse Pro SMS · Last updated: August 2026.

What this program is

Lighthouse Pro builds and maintains websites for small local businesses. When we are in a conversation with a business owner or manager, they often ask us to text them something we discussed — most commonly a preview link for a website design we prepared for their business, or the details of a meeting they scheduled with us. Lighthouse Pro SMS is the low-volume, conversational program that sends those requested messages. We do not send bulk marketing texts, promotions, or messages to people we have not spoken with.

How you opt in

There are exactly two ways a phone number enters this program:

  • Verbal request during a phone call. While speaking with our team on a recorded call, you ask us to text you specific information, or our representative asks: "Would you like me to text that to you? Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts." Only if you say yes do we text you, at the number you provide or confirm on that call. Your consent is noted on your contact record, with the date, before any message is sent.
  • You text us first. If you send a text to one of our business numbers, we may reply to you in that same conversation.

Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of purchasing any Lighthouse Pro product or service. We do not use pre-checked boxes, purchased lists, or any other opt-in source.

What we send, how often, and what it costs

Messages are individual, person-to-person follow-ups: a website preview link you requested, meeting scheduling details, or a reply to a question you texted us. Message frequency varies and is typically low — usually a few messages around a conversation, not a recurring stream. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How you opt out or get help

Reply STOP to any message to immediately unsubscribe; you will receive one final confirmation of the opt-out and nothing further. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at [email protected].

Your privacy

Mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in data are never shared with, sold to, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Full details on how we handle your information are in our Privacy Policy. The messaging program terms are part of our Website Services Agreement.
